Knoxville, TN. — September 19, 2025 — The Madlid Company today announced that Harold Q. Snerd has been appointed acting attorney at law, effective immediately. Harold assumes this role while, his son, Franklin D. Snerd remains confined due to health-related challenges.

This transition ensures that all legal proceedings, including the ongoing matter concerning lid alignment, continue without interruption. The company rejects any claim that the proper placement of lids — essential to the safe and orderly transport of infants — can be withheld from public use.

The Madlid Company remains committed to protecting both the integrity of its designs and the welfare of the many babies entrusted to them. Customers, partners, and stakeholders can expect all operations, litigation, and daily functions to move forward as planned under Harold’s representation.

In his first recorded appearance for the company, Harold addressed Franklin's absence directly while reaffirming his commitment to carry forward ongoing legal matters. He added:
